====Glastrier, Spectrier, and Calyrex====
At the end of the storyline involving {{p|Calyrex}}, it will challenge the player while riding its steed. The steed it is riding is dependent on which carrot the player grew with their [[Carrot Seeds]]. If the player grows an [[Iceroot Carrot]], the carrot will attract {{p|Glastrier}}, and the player will battle Calyrex in its Ice Rider form. If the player grows a [[Shaderoot Carrot]], it will call forth {{p|Spectrier}}, and the player will Spectrier in its Shadow Rider form.
 
Regardless of the choice, when the player catches Calyrex, both Pokémon will effectively be caught in the same ball, and the steed of their choice will be added to their [[Pokédex]] at the same time as Calyrex. It will share the same Poké Ball used to catch it, but all of its other stats, including {{IV}}s and [[Nature]], will differ once split using the [[Reins of Unity]].

This is a list of Pokémon obtainable from events found in the Generation VIII Pokémon games.

Most of these Pokémon can only be obtained once per game; however, some may also be obtained in other ways as well. All Pokémon listed here cannot be Shiny, but if the Pokémon can breed, it can produce Shiny offspring.

Galarian Slowpoke

Starting in Patch 1.1.0, the player has the opportunity to catch this Galarian Slowpoke at Wedgehurst Station during a scene where they meet KlaraSw/AverySh from The Isle of Armor expansion.

Gigantamax Factor Charmander

Gigantamax Factor Pikachu and Eevee

If the player talks to male NPC on the left side of the Wild Area Station in Meetup Spot with a save file from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee!, they can receive one of these special Pokémon with a Gigantamax Factor. Players of Let's Go, Pikachu! can receive a Pikachu, while players of Let's Go, Eevee! can receive an Eevee. Both Pokémon cannot evolve, but do come with a maxed out 31 IVs across all of their stats.

Zacian and Zamazenta

This ZacianSw/ZamazentaSh challenges the player during the post-game story involving Sordward and Shielbert. It is given the Rusted SwordSw/Rusted ShieldSh before it is battled, and will be holding it when it is captured. Because of this, it will have access to its signature move, Behemoth BladeSw/Behemoth BashSh during the battle, replacing Iron Head.

Eternatus

During the climax of the main story, the player will join forces with Hop, Zacian, and Zamazenta in a Max Raid Battle against Eternamax Eternatus on the Energy Plant's Tower Summit. After Eternatus is defeated, the player will be able to capture it with their choice of Poké Ball. Eternatus's capture is guaranteed.

The Isle of Armor

Gigantamax Factor Bulbasaur and Squirtle

After the player has completed Mustard's first trial, Honey will present them with a choice between Bulbasaur or Squirtle. Both have the Gigantamax Factor, allowing them to Gigantamax once they've evolved into Venusaur or Blastoise.

Kubfu

After completing all three trials, the player will receive this Kubfu from Mustard. The player is then tasked with training at either the Tower of Darkness or the Tower of Waters with Kubfu alone. Completing its training will cause it to evolve into Urshifu in either its Fighting/Dark Single Strike Style or Fighting/Water Rapid Strike Style, depending on the place it trained.

Diglett Trainer

After encountering a partially hidden Alolan Diglett in front of the bridge toward the Master Dojo, its will ask the player to find his other 150 Alolan Diglett are hiding in various locations throughout the Isle of Armor. As a reward for hitting a specific threshold of Diglett, the Diglett Trainer will gift the player Regional form Pokémon not native to Galar and one of the Alolan Starter Pokémon. Any of the Pokémon received that have a Hidden Ability will have their Hidden Ability, instead of one its species' standard Abilities.
