The Meetup Spot (Japanese: 集いの空き地Meetup Space) is a part of the Wild Area in the Galarregion, located in the south of the Wild Area.
Role
The player and Hop first arrive here after taking the train from Wedgehurst to Motostoke, with a station attendant explaining that the train stopped at the Wild Area Station due to a flock of Wooloo blocking the tracks. At this point, the train can only travel between Wedgehurst Station and the Wild Area Station.
The tracks remain blocked until Motostoke Station becomes accessible normally (after the player has arrived at the front of the Budew Drop Inn). At this point, the station attendant disappears and it becomes possible to travel to and from Motostoke by train.
Geography
The Meetup Spot is a roughly rectangular subarea. To the east is the Wild Area Station and the station's entrance, and to the north is a low fence with a wide gap leading to the main part of the Wild Area. This subarea has no grass and no wild Pokémon. At the northeast is an NPC who offers to heal the player's team. After the player has visited Motostoke at least once, a Watt Trader stands at the northwest.
If the player blacks out in the Wild Area, they will be healed by the Meetup Spot NPC even if this is not the last place where they healed their Pokémon. She will then offer to escort the player directly to the entrance of Motostoke (at any time) or Hammerlocke (after getting the Fire Badge), warping them directly to the base of the stairs if the offer is accepted. After warping, the player will be facing south towards the Wild Area, away from the Motostoke/Hammerlocke entrance.
Wild Area Station
The Wild Area Station is located in the Meetup Spot.
The player can catch a train from this station to the following locations:
Once the player has visited Motostoke, the area's Watt Trader will appear. He is located at the fence in front of Rolling Fields. His stock follows a schedule that changes daily, and always consists of one type of Poké Ball, a Wishing Piece, and five distinct TRs.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
