In the anime
Iki Town first appeared in To Top a Totem!, where Ash visited Hala's house along with Professor Kukui to talk to him about his upcoming trial.
The town appeared again in Trial and Tribulation!, where Officer Jenny drove Ash there for his grand trial battle with Hala. After Ash emerged victorious, he was about to receive a Fightinium Z from Hala as a reward for defeating him, but at the last second, Tapu Koko switched it with an Electrium Z, which Hala ended up giving Ash instead.
The town reappeared again in Family Determination!, where Ash, his classmates, and Professor Kukui traveled there in order to ask advice from Hala regarding Lillie and Gladion's plan to save their mother from Ultra Space, which they would need an Ultra Wormhole for in order to succeed. The Island Kahuna told them about a legend regarding Solgaleo, and adviced the group to visit the Altar of the Sunne on Poni Island.

Iki Town in Pokémon Adventures
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
Iki Town first appeared in Pokémon Move Specialist Professor Kukui. There, Hala hosted an exhibition battle between Olivia and Nanu in order to prepare a stage that would be used in an upcoming festival. The next day, Hala hosts a tournament taking place in the festival. Sun, Moon, Hau, Gladion, the Masked Royal, and Grunt A each competed against each other in the tournament. In the middle of the event, Guzma knocked out Grunt A and took his place in the tournament. The tournament ended in Sun's victory, earning him an island challenge amulet and sending him on a journey to appease the enraged guardian deities.
