Vivian Meridian (Japanese: ビビアン Vivian) is a character in the Pokémon anime. She is the Hoenn Contest announcer.
History
Vivian made her debut appearance in Win, Lose or Drew! during the Slateport City Pokémon Contest. Since then, she has appeared in several episodes to announce the Pokémon Contests hosted in the Hoenn region, as well as the Hoenn Grand Festival.
Vivian is the older sister of Lilian. The two of them look identical apart from what side the mole on their face is on. However, they have drastically different personalities. She was seen in a flashback in The Saffron Con.
During the Kanto Grand Festival, Vivian joined Raoul Contesta, Mr. Sukizo, and Nurse Joy in the panel of judges. After the Contest Battle between May and Drew in the quarter-finals, she mentioned that she had been watching both of them since their days in Hoenn and how impressed she was by their techniques.
Character
Vivian seems to enjoy her work as an announcer. She hosts every competition in a formal and ceremonious way, much like the host of an award ceremony.

Trivia
- In The Rise of Darkrai, Marian can be seen hosting the Alamos Town Contest. However, she has a mole on the left side of her face (which she normally doesn't have) making her look exactly like Vivian.
