In the manga
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
While passing through Jubilife City on his way to Lake Verity in Licking Lickitung, Diamond met three clowns and the Pokétch Co. President. In the manga, the clowns were part of a campaign for the Pokétch Company, somewhat similar to games (three Coupon clowns situated in Jubilife City). Diamond also became part of the campaign and dressed as a clown for the part.
Trivia
- In Diamond and Pearl, Clown Lee can be fought in the Jubilife TV station on Wednesdays.
- In Platinum, Lee can be found in these Pokémon Center locations around Sinnoh:
- Sunday, Saturday: Hearthome City
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Celestic Town
- Tuesday, Thursday: Pastoria City
- In French, the Clown and the Harlequin are both called "Clowns."
