Monsieur Pierre (Japanese: ムッシュ・ピエール Monsieur Pierre) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime. He is the announcer of Pokémon Showcases.
History
Pierre made his debut appearance in Dreaming a Performer's Dream!, where he was seen calling Aria on stage to give an exhibition performance at the Lagoon Town Rookie Class Pokémon Showcase.
He appeared in Serena's dream in The Green, Green Grass Types of Home!.
He appeared again in Battling with Elegance and a Big Smile! in a Pokévision video recapping Shauna's victory at the Coumarine Showcase.
In Rivals: Today and Tomorrow!, Pierre appeared on television to announce that an upcoming Pokémon Showcase would be held in Dendemille Town.
In A Frolicking Find in the Flowers!, Pierre appeared in Serena's guidebook video to announce that an upcoming Pokémon Showcase would be located in Anistar City.
Pierre appeared again in XY104 where he hosted a party for Performers and their Pokémon which included competitive ballroom dancing followed by a Tag Battle. He was Aria's dance partner.

Pierre speaks with a French accent and has a tendency of interspersing French phrases with his regular speech, such as "s'il vous plaît".
At the start of a Pokémon Showcase, he announces the theme of the competition. He is also the one to introduce the Pokémon Performers on stage and to explain the proceedings to the audience. Furthermore, he keeps track of the time the Performers are given during the Theme Performance and hands out the Princess Key to the winner.
He seems to enjoy his work. His trademark is his staff, which his Klefki sits on top of.

Klefki is Monsieur Pierre's only known Pokémon.
He first appeared in Dreaming a Performer's Dream!. He was only shown sitting on top of Monsieur Pierre's staff. He appeared again in A Showcase Debut! at the Coumarine City Pokémon Showcase. He presented the Princess Key to the audience.
Klefki appeared again in XY104 where he was seen dancing with Aria's Delphox in a dance party hosted by his Trainer.
None of Klefki's moves are known.
