BREAKthrough Theme Decks

The first products made available for the XY BREAK Series were the two Theme Decks released for the BREAKthrough expansion on November 4, 2015. Featuring Raichu and Noivern respectively, the Burning Spark and Night Striker decks are loosely based on the Japanese Raichu BREAK and Noivern BREAK Evolution Packs. Burning Spark includes Fire-type and Lightning-type Pokémon, while Night Striker includes Psychic-type and Darkness-type Pokémon. Each Theme Deck also contained the typical damage counters, coin, playmat, deckbox, and code card for the TCGO. The featured coins are of Mega Mewtwo.

2015 World Championships Decks

The 2015 World Championships Decks were released on November 18, 2015, a few months after the 2015 World Championships. These four decks were chosen from the 12 Quarter-Finalists split between the 3 age groups from the Championships, each representing a different winning deck archetype used in the tournament. Each Deck comes with a Worlds 2015 themed Deckbox, a booklet about the championships, a non-tournament-legal print of the sixty card deck, and the 2015 World Championships Pin.

The four decks include the decks used by the three champions, with the fourth being Junior runner-up Alejandro Ng-Guzman's Primal Groudon Deck. The other three decks are Junior Champion Rowan Stavenow's The Flying Hammer, Senior Champion Patrick Martinez’s Punches 'n' Bites, and Masters Champion Jacob Van Wagner's HonorStoise.

January 2016 Pokémon Center accessories

In mid-January 2016, the online Pokémon Center introduced a number of both previously Japanese-exclusive and English exclusive TCG accessories to the North American audience. Included in the release were playmats, sleeves, deckboxes, and 3-ring binders, some of which were part of larger collections of merchandise available on the store.

Playmats: The only playmat newly available for January was the English-exclusive Goomy playmat from the We're Goomy Collection. The playmat displays Goomy in a number of decorated scenarios with various other Pokémon.

Sleeves: The six sets of sleeves released by the Pokémon Center in January 2016 were all originally released in Japan. For the English release, each pack contains 65 card sleeves, and sells for a price of $7.99. Each sleeve received minor tweaks to the copyrights and design from its Japanese counterparts.

We're Goomy Sleeves: The We're Goomy Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド ヌメラだもの。 Deck Shields: Numera Damono), a part of the We're Goomy Collection, were originally available in Japanese Pokémon Centers on March 14, 2015. For their English release, The Japanese text ヘイヘイ was translated into the English Hey Hey, and the Japanese collection name was omitted completely, being replaced with more star graphics.
Pikachu Tails Sleeves: The Pikachu Tails Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド ピカチュウのしっぽ Deck Shields: Pikachu Tails) were initially released in Japan on January 17, 2015. The design features a completely yellow background with Pikachu's stripes and tail. The English release modifies the copyright running across the bottom border.
Poké Ball Sleeves: The Poké Ball Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド モンスターボール柄 Deck Shields: Poké Ball Design) were released alongside the Pikachu Tails Sleeves in Japan on January 17, 2015. They sport the silhouettes of various Pokémon behind a basic Poké Ball design. The English release modifies the text along the bottom border.
Team Magma and Team Aqua Sleeves: The Team Magma and Team Aqua Sleeves are the only set of sleeves in the group that did not have a Japanese release. Featured in the design are the logos for Team Aqua and Team Magma, as well as silhouettes of Kyogre and Groudon.
Flygon Sleeves: Originally released to Japanese Pokémon Centers one year prior on January 17, 2015, the Flygon Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド 天体観測 Deck Shields: Celestial Observation) feature various Hoenn Pokémon staring up at a starry night sky. The illustration was drawn by sui. The only differences between the two prints are copyrights.
Dragonite Sleeves: Released in Japan on March 14, 2015, the Dragonite Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド カイリュー Deck Shields: Dragonite) were the last of the sleeves available via the English Pokémon Center website mid January 2016. The scene portrayed is of Dragonite flying above a bed of flowers with Altaria and Bagon. The illustration was drawn by Kanako Eo. The only difference between the English and Japanese prints is the copyright information.
