Release information

This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil XY Black Star Promo and was available in the Evolutions Single Pack Blisters from November 2, 2016. In Japan, this card was released as a Cracked Ice Holofoil XY-P Promotional card and was available as part of a joint promotion between the Pokémon Card Game, FamilyMart, and Lotte. Customers at participating FamilyMart stores who purchased at least three eligible items between December 22, 2015 and January 4, 2016 were given a copy of this card. Eligible items included booster packs from the Blue Shock, Red Flash, and Rage of the Broken Heavens expansions, as well as the following Lotte-branded snacks: Pokémon Wafer Choco ver. 4, Pokémon Gummy, Pokémon Chewing Candy, Koala's March Choco, Toppo, Painomi Chocolate Pie, and Ichigo Tsumi (strawberry flavored chocolate lollipops).[1]
