The song begins with Pikachu playing a short melody on a Poké Flute, while music notes appear in the background. A Chatot then appears and the two both immediately take off, revealing the song's title. Four sequences of two Pokémon types are shown, with each sequence involving eight Pokémon (one from each generation) of the opposing types facing off against each other in a manner similar to the game tug of war. The type with the better advantage ends up winning, and the losing type has all of its Pokémon pushed off the screen. A wheel-like diagram composed of various icons representing the 18 types is shown, with lines drawn between some of them to form a web representing all the possible matchups. A quiz-like segment is shown, where Pikachu and Grookey both ask the viewer which Pokémon type is more likely to win (usually either Grass vs. Rock or Water vs. Electric), with footage of certain Pokémon of said types being shown, as a timer counts down. Once the timer runs out, the correct answer is shown. A wheel depicing random icons representing different types is shown spinning, with every time the wheel stops on a certain wedge depicting the types featured, the wedge briefly shows images of various Pokémon of that type. A guessing game-like segment is then shown, where Grookey shows the viewer an image of a random Pokémon to the viewer, while Pikachu holds a sign showing an icon representing said Pokémon's type. The song ends with Pikachu playing the Poké Flute once more, while Grookey taps its stick to the music, with both Pokémon being surrounded by pictures of various random Pokémon of each type, all associated with either a certain generation or specific groups, except for the Electric- and Grass-types, as both Pikachu and Grookey already represent those two types, respectively.
