Japanese Rōmaji English

U…You & I 愛こそだって?

Yoi no myōjō hitori tsumutta manako hikari o matsu

Naraba honō no naka hisomu
Kanashimi mo nikushimi mo fukeyo konjiki no kaze

U…You & I Ai koso datte? Iiwake ni sunna
U…Yume janai anta wa dare jama shinasanna
Maku o ageru no wa orera ni takusareteru
Spellbound and helpless, scream no matter what
The boorish bunch beats around the bush, glancing sideways as I press onwards

Why have I been brought into this world? Fate tests my very being
The evening star glimmers in solitude as closed eyes await the light

Then, go lurk beneath the flames
Let the golden wind blow away the sorrow and the hatred

U... You & I, is love all there is to it? Don't make excuses
U... It's not a dream. Who do you think you are? Don't get in my way
The curtain rises, leaving it all to us

It's a pity to what has become, but there's no time to cower before setbacks
The morning star ascends as squinting eyes stare towards the eastern skies

Farewell at the end of suffering
Between set-offs and break-ups is the pain of worry and touch

U... You & I, is love all there is to it? Don't make excuses
U... It's not a dream. Who do you think you are? Don't get in my way
The curtain rises, leaving it all to us

Why have I been brought into this world? Fate tests my very being
The evening star glimmers in solitude as closed eyes await the light

Then, go lurk beneath the flames
Let the golden wind blow away the sorrow and the hatred

U... How long shall you keep saying that you want to be loved?
U... There's no reason, so was it all a lie? I'm right here

U... You & I, is love all there is to it? Don't make excuses
U... It's not a dream. Who do you think you are? Don't get in my way
The curtain rises, leaving it all to us
