Regulation Set B (known as Ranked Battles Series 2 until March 1, 2023) was a set of organized play rules in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It was first used from February 1, 2023 until March 31, 2023.
Ruleset
The regulation set adopts the following ruleset:
- Pokémon are automatically set to level 50 during battle.
- Pokémon may hold held items, however duplicate held items are not allowed.
- Pokémon with the same National Pokédex number may not be registered to the same team.
- Terastallization is allowed.
- Timers are set as follows:
- Total time limit per game: 20 minutes
- Player timer per game: 7 minutes
- Turn time: 45 seconds
- Preview time: 90 seconds
