Ranked Battles Series 7 was a set of organized play rules in Pokémon Sword and Shield. It was used from November 1, 2020 until January 31, 2021.
The ruleset marked the introduction of Pokémon from the The Crown Tundra. The ruleset would also later be reused in Series 9.
Ruleset
The regulation set adopts the following ruleset:
- Pokémon may hold held items, however duplicate held items are not allowed.
- Pokémon with the same National Pokédex number may not be registered to the same team.
- Pokémon are automatically set to level 50 during battle.
- Dynamax and Gigantamax are allowed.
- All eligible Gigantamax Pokémon may be used.
- Eligible Pokémon are limited to Pokémon obtained in Pokémon Sword and Shield, or Pokémon with the battle-ready symbol.
- Timers are set as follows:
- Total time limit per game: 20 minutes
- Player timer per game: 7 minutes
- Turn time: 45 seconds
- Preview time: 90 seconds

Pokémon on the list below are eligible if they are available in Pokémon Sword and Shield, or transferred through Pokémon HOME.
