Regulation Set M-A was the first set of organized play rules in Pokémon Champions. It was used for the first time from April 8, 2026 until June 17, 2026.

Ruleset

The season adopts the following ruleset:

  • Eligibility is limited to the Pokémon listed below
  • Pokémon may hold held items, however duplicate held items are not allowed.
  • Mega Evolution is enabled for select Pokémon (see list below), however a player may only Mega Evolve once per battle.
  • Timers are set as follows:
    • Total time limit per game: 20 minutes
    • Player timer per game: 7 minutes
    • Turn time: 45 seconds
    • Preview time: 90 seconds
