Prima Games is a subsidiary of GAMURS Group based in the United States that previously wrote companion strategy guides to video games and tabletop games. Prima has written strategy guides for core series Pokémon games and most major spin-off games, known as Prima's Official Strategy Guides.

In 2007, when Nintendo Power announced that they would no longer be publishing strategy guides, they appointed Prima Games as the officially endorsed publisher of licensed strategy guides. In 2015, with the merger of parent companies Penguin and Random House, competitor BradyGames was merged into Prima Games.

In March 2019, after being acquired by Asteri Holdings, Prima announced that they would exclusively publish online and cease publishing physical books.[1] The last Pokémon guidebook that Prima Games is credited for publishing is Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield: The Official Galar Region Pokédex. On January 3, 2022, GAMURS Group announced its acquisition of Prima Games.[2]
