Nintendo System Development Division (often referred to as Nintendo SDD), formerly Nintendo Network Business & Development (NBD), Nintendo Network Service Development (NSD), and Nintendo Special Planning & Development (SPD), was a division of Nintendo that consisted of a Japanese game and hardware development studio that focused on handheld consoles, whose staff originally came from Nintendo Research & Development 2. They were involved in the development of many games for the Pokémon mini.

On September 16, 2015, SDD merged with Nintendo Integrated Research & Development (IRD), becoming Nintendo Platform Technology Development.[1]
