A Socialite (Japanese: マダム Madame) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are older women in expensive yet conservative outfits. They appear to be the female counterpart of the Gentleman class.
They generally use Pokémon based on pets or other "refined" Pokémon, like Roselia. In the Battle Subway, they specialize in legendary Pokémon.

In the manga
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
A Socialite appears in Bombastic Bibarel and Heroic Hippopotas of the Diamond & Pearl arc where she, along with a Gentleman, battles Diamond and Pearl.
Pokémon
Bibarel is the Socialite's only known Pokémon. It was able to combine its Water Gun with Hippopotas's Sand Tomb to create a unique battlefield. However, it didn't take long for the Beaver Pokémon to be knocked out by Chimler's Fury Swipes.
Bibarel's only known move is Water Gun. | ||
