Belle and Pa (Japanese: ぼくじょうおやこ Farm Parent and Child) are a pair of Pokémon Trainers that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are a combination of a Rancher and Cowgirl, usually presented as father and daughter.
They raise a variety of different Pokémon used in Double Battles, usually being farmyard animals like Ponyta and Rapidash.

In the manga
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
A Belle and Pa first appear in Knowledge of the Unown (I) where they were working at the Pokémon News Press, with Pa being called editor-in-chief. They took picture of Diamond, Pearl and Platinum while trying to photograph Unown to make a scoop of the discovery of a "previously undiscovered" species. They make a cameo in VS Dialga and Palkia V, battling a Steelix.
