Trivia

Origin

Kali's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon X and Y, which, in turn, is based on one of the four possible appearances of the Furisode Girl Trainer class from the aforementioned games. Kali uses an Azumarill during the battle against her at the Laverre Gym. Azumarill's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby.
