	Reduces damage when the user is attacked by Fire-type moves.

Fire Guard (Japanese: ほのおガード Flame Guard) is a skill in Pokémon Masters EX.

Effect

Fire Guard reduces the damage taken from Fire-type moves, including buddy moves, by 30%. It does not reduce damage from sync moves or max moves.

Most sync pairs that can access the Fire Guard skill without the use of Lucky Cookies are formed with Pokémon that can have either the Thick Fat or Flash Fire Ability in the core series games. Thick Fat reduces the damage from Fire-type moves, while Flash Fire provides immunity to them.
- The only exception is Groudon. However, after Primal Reversion, Groudon gains a resistance to Fire-type moves.
