The Move Tutor is one of several Shops in the Forum Based RPG Fizzy Bubbles. Like the Training Center, it allows Pokémon to gain extra moves.

Origins
The Move Tutor was introduced to Fizzy Bubbles shortly after the introduction of third gen Pokémon. Popular belief, reinforced by the choice of examples to demonstrate the new features, is that the idea came into Arnold's mind after comparing the vastly different movesets of his new Pokémon, Lotad and Lombre.
Functions
With all functions, a Pokémon must be dropped off at the Move Tutor on Monday and have a three day stay there, during which time it cannot be used in any other shops or zones. This service can only be used once per week.
Restoring a Level Up Move
The most basic function offered by the Move Tutor, and the only one to remain unchanged throughout its history, with this function, a Pokémon can learn a move that it's previous stage would be capable of learning at or below the Pokémon's current level, that the Evolved Pokémon is no longer capable of learning by level up. For example, an Espeon at level 16 could learn the move Growl.
Obtaining an Egg Move
For the payment of a single Rare Candy, a Pokémon may learn any 1 of it's Egg Moves. This service may only be used once per week. Originally, this service was free, but once a Pokémon had learnt it's first egg move, it had to level up 15 times before it could learn the next one, and so on. Unfortunantly this proved difficult to keep track of, and resulted Pokémon only ever being able to learn seven Egg Moves, while most have more than that to pick from, resulting in the current system being adopted.
Obtaining a FrLg Move Tutor Move
For the payment of a single Rare Candy, a Pokémon may learn any 1 of the moves it can be taught by one of the many Move Tutors found in Pokémon Firered and Leafgreen. Moves taught by Move Tutors found in Pokémon Emerald are currently off limits, but are expected to be added sometime in the future.
Obtaining an Advanced Move
For the payment of three Heart Scales, a Pokémon may learn any 1 of either Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon, Icicle Spear, or Volt Tackle.
Passes
Currently there are two different types of passes which may be cashed in at the Move Tutor to receive some sort of reward.
Move Tutor Pass
- Allows 1 Pokémon to receive a free EM or MT.
- Move Tutor Passes do not count toward the one Pokémon a week limit.
- All other rules apply.
Double Move Tutor Pass
- Allows 1 Pokémon to receive two free EM and/or MT.
- You may split up the training between 2 different Pokémon. (1 Pokémon learns 1 move & a different Pokémon learns 1 move.)
- Move Tutor Passes do not count toward the one Pokémon a week limit.
- All other rules apply.
