Recycle (Japanese: リサイクル Recycle) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
Recycle allows the user to regain a single-use held item, such as a Berry, once it has been consumed, as many times as it is used. Any requirements needed to activate the item are still required once the item has been recycled. Recycle can recover items consumed by Bug Bite, Fling, Natural Gift, and Pluck, but not items lost by Covet, Knock Off, Switcheroo, Thief, or Trick. Recycle will fail if the item is collected by a Pokémon with Pickup.
Generation V
Recycle can now be affected by Snatch.
Mystery Dungeon
Recycle repairs a Used TM to its original state so it can be used again. In Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, it cannot be used on a Used TM that contained Recycle.
