Trivia
- This move's Japanese name is the same as another move's English name. Due to this, in Ash and Trip's Third Battle!, the move which was Low Sweep in the Japanese version was dubbed as Low Kick.
- Low Sweep appears to be inspired by an attack called a leg sweep, which is a mainstay attack in a wide variety of martial arts. It is designed to trip opponents.
