An Area Leader (Japanese: エリアリーダー Area Leader) is a type of Pokémon trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Pokémon Colosseum. Each Area Leader rules over 10 sections of Mt. Battle and specializes in a single type of Pokémon. In this way, they are much like the closest thing Orre has to Gym Leaders. After defeating an Area Leader, the player receives Poké Coupons as a reward instead of badges. There are 10 Area Leaders in all.
An Area Leader (Japanese: エリアリーダー Area Leader) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Colosseum and . Each Area Leader rules over 10 sections of Mt. Battle and many specialize in a single Pokémon type. In this way, they are the closest thing Orre has to Gym Leaders. After defeating an Area Leader, the player receives Poké Coupons as a reward instead of a Badge. The tenth one faced is known as a Mt BtlMaster, the Area Leader of all of Mt. Battle.

Story Mode
Each Area (with the exception of the first and last) has four leaders in total: three in Colosseum (depending on if Battle Mode or Story Mode is selected), and one in XD. The listing is as follows:

An Area Leader (Japanese: エリアリーダー Area Leader) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD. Battle.

Each Area (with the exception of the first and last) has four leaders in total: three in Colosseum (depending on if Battle Mode or Story Mode is selected), and one in XD. The listing is as follows:

 • Area 1: Vander, Vannos, Elion
 • Area 2: Arth, Erben, Altor, Eldof
 • Area 3: Renson, Leven, Kucher, Taria
 • Area 4: Trinch, Slewis, Vernice, Boyden
 • Area 5: Zentin, Cryal, Konaik, Calus
 • Area 6: Loko, Glydin, Atrice, Hampy
 • Area 7: Athey, Vario, Langot, Nocom
 • Area 8: Shobon, Dessa, Mortac, Naday
 • Area 9: Norus, Axley, Neblek, Ragen
 • Area 10: SomekColo/BattlusXD, Infin, Inity

 • Area Leader Axley's team in Pokémon Colosseum is a reference to the puzzles for unlocking the legendary giants in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire; in addition to including Regirock, Regice, and Registeel themselves, his team contains Wailord, Relicanth, and Flygon.
