Locations
Fiore
Almia
Oblivia
Pokémon Rangers in Oblivia take orders directly from the Ranger Union, as there are no Ranger Bases in Oblivia.
The Ranger Union later sends Murph on The Union to act as a moving base for the rangers of Oblivia.
In the spin-off games
Pokémon Ranger
In Pokémon Ranger, the Ranger Union operates four Ranger Bases in Fiore. Professor Hastings also has a lab here within Fall City.
There are 35 Pokémon Rangers operating in the Fiore region, including 4 Ranger Leaders and 4 Operators.
The Union works in Fiore to foil the plans of Gordor and the Go-Rock Squad.
Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
The Ranger Union is expanded on in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, with the Ranger School and headquarters being visited for the first time. The history of the organization is also revealed; with its three founders (Chairperson Erma, Professor Hastings and Principal Lamont) having key roles in the story.
The game also expands on the various roles within the organization with Student Rangers, Area Rangers, and Top Rangers being shown, alongside Operators and Mechanics.
The Ranger Union works to stop the plans of Blake Hall and Team Dim Sun.
Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs
In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, the Ranger Union sends Ben and Summer to the Oblivia region to investigate the Pokémon Pinchers. They are later joined by Professor Hastings and Murph aboard The Union; a ship the organization owns, to foil the plans of the Pokémon Pinchers and uncovers the plot of the Societea.
The Ranger Union HQ's map room can be seen briefly in the game's opening and epilogue, this time displaying a map of Oblivia rather than Almia.
There is only one Pokémon Ranger (Rand) stationed in the Oblivia region. This is due to the region being relatively peaceful compared to Fiore or Almia.

Trivia
- Although the Ranger School stresses the importance of Rangers, Operators, and Mechanics working together, there are no Mechanics seen at the Ranger Union HQ.
- The Ranger Union has an azure globe with meridians as insignia, as seen in the Glossary from the first game of the series. The globe represents worldliness, possibly hinting that the Union is an organization operating worldwide. Below the globe, however, an arrow-like shape is seen, potentially a reference to the motion of the Styler's top-like part resembling that of a planetary orbit.
- Inside Rand's House in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, players can see on the wall what is assumed to be the Ranger Union's flag, featuring a red field with a gray-bordered white oval in the center containing the Union's globe. The same colors are seen on professional Stylers as well as the uniforms worn by most Rangers.
- In Pokémon Ranger: The Comic – Shadows of Almia, the Union's flag is portrayed as a white field with the Union's globe in the middle. This may be a reference to the colours of the United Nations, representing neutrality.
