Trivia
- The three sections of the Kalos Pokédex contain in total 457 species of Pokémon. This is the largest number of species that a regional Pokédex has included without DLC.
- The three icons of the Coastal, Central, and Mountain Kalos Pokédex are a pentagon with a blue, white, or red stripe, respectively. When looked at together, the icons resemble the flag of France, the country Kalos is based on.
- The Central Kalos Pokédex lacks an Ice-type Pokémon.
- The Coastal Kalos Pokédex is the only Pokédex the player receives in any main series game at a point where it is possible to be viewed with a completion level of zero Pokémon both seen and owned, without the use of hacking or glitches.
- It is actually possible to catch Pokémon registered in the Mountain Kalos Pokédex without owning the Pokédex first.
