Unlike in previous games, Pokémon Sun and Moon features the ability for the player to defend their title as Champion upon defeating the Elite Four for the second and subsequent times, instead of battling the same Champion over and over again. Upon entering the Pokémon League building, the challenger the player faces is selected at random from the following Trainers.
