Trivia

  • Much like Anabel, Ash thought Aoi was a boy, and much like her, she is another girl who has a Template:S on Ash.
  • Her name in Japanese can mean "blue" or "hollyhock".
  • Like Ash, Aoi has an Template:Type2 Pokémon, Shinx. But whether or not it is her first Pokémon is unknown. She also prefers to keep it outside its Poké Ball much like Ash does with Pikachu.
