A Sailor (Japanese: ふなのり Sailor) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation I games. They are often depicted as burly men in sailor suits flexing their muscles, although their sprites have become fatter and less muscular throughout the generations.

They use a combination of Fighting-type and Water-type Pokémon. However, the Fighting-type Pokémon are almost always part of the Machop evolution family.
