The Realgam Tower (Japanese: ラルガタワー Ralga Tower) is a gigantic ivory spear projecting far into the heavens. It is an impressive sight in most areas of the world, even more so for sleepy Orre. The tower itself is located in the south-central area of the desert region. Prior to its opening it is marked on the map as Construction Lot (Japanese: 工事現場 Construction Site).

Prior to its opening in Pokémon Colosseum, it is marked on the map as Construction Lot (Japanese: 工事現場 Construction Site).

Containing several floors and chambers, the Realgam Tower seems to be built both as a fortress and a high-class hotel. The entrance to the main tower itself is obscured by a series of half-buried tunnels and dead-ends in the surrounding desert.

From there, the player can the access the top floor of the tower, which provides access to the Colosseum above, where the last set of battles during the Pokémon Colosseum main story takes place.

When four keys are inserted into the base of the tower, the tower's hotel area opens. Impeccably decorated, the Realgam Tower is filled with exquisite paintings and statues of various Pokémon. There are several areas for guests - an information desk and reception area, several Pokémon healing devices and PCs, a bar, a casino, and many other luxuries honeycomb the tower. At the very top of the tower is a giant, white Colosseum surrounded by a stadium suspended in mid-air.
In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Realgam Tower is no longer in Cipher's control. The tower was constructed over a long period of time by Cipher. As part of their Shadow Pokémon plan, they intended to use Realgam Tower to lure rich Pokémon enthusiasts into paying for their chance to see intense Shadow Pokémon battles.
In the five years between Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD, Realgam Tower has replaced Phenac Stadium as the preferred Colosseum for Phenac City's citizens, causing the latter to be closed down.

The Realgam Tower (Japanese: ラルガタワー Ralga Tower) is a Colosseum-housing tower located in the south-central area of the desert region Orre. Prior to its opening in Pokémon Colosseum, it is marked on the map as Construction Lot (Japanese: 工事現場 Construction Site).

In Pokémon Colosseum, the tower works as Cipher's headquarters, meant to house violent Colosseum battles with Shadow Pokémon. The tower's entrance consists of multiple domes, which can be accessed by riding on moving platforms through long glass tunnels. The player has to rematch the four Cipher Admins in order to obtain the four ID Badges required to unlock the door leading to the tower lobby. From there, the player can the access the top floor of the tower, which provides access to the Colosseum above, where the last set of battles during the Pokémon Colosseum main story takes place.

In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Realgam Tower is no longer in Cipher's control. In addition to the Colosseum, which now runs proper Colosseum battles, the tower lobbies have been turned into gaming facilities for housing Battle Sims and Battle Bingo. Doing well in these activities award the player with Poké Coupons. The amount of domes and tunnels before the lobby has been dramatically reduced, with two of them now housing a Poké Mart and a Pokémon Center, respectively.

In the five years between Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD, Realgam Tower has replaced Phenac Stadium as the preferred Colosseum for Phenac City's citizens, causing the latter to be closed down.

Trivia

  • The statues in Realgam Tower correspond to the Shadow Pokémon owned by the four Cipher Admins in Colosseum - Sudowoodo, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.
    • Additionally, several portraits of Ludicolo can be seen.

Name origin

Realgam Tower is probably a corruption of the Spanish word "real", meaning royal, and "game", as a reference to its several gaming facilities. The name may also be taken from the word "realgar".
