==Held | ==Held item conversion in Generation I==
In Generation I, most [[catch rate]]s directly convert to an [[List of items by index number in Generation II|item index]] in Generation II. These are special values which the Generation II games use a [https://github.com/pret/pokegold/blob/8a924f1f783572ff395f617f99546b4c949c8b04/data/items/catch_rate_items.asm lookup table] to convert to a different item index number.
Values are considered to be "Used" if there is any Pokémon species in the Generation I games that has that catch rate (regardless of whether it can actually be encountered in the wild).

This is actually based on a table taken from an old revision of TTE's userpage, but I like it and wanted to keep it (particularly with people talking about how short Generation V was).

Held item conversion in Generation I
In Generation I, most catch rates directly convert to an item index in Generation II. These are special values which the Generation II games use a lookup table to convert to a different item index number.
Values are considered to be "Used" if there is any Pokémon species in the Generation I games that has that catch rate (regardless of whether it can actually be encountered in the wild).
