The Cameruptite (Japanese: バクーダナイト Bakuudanite) is a type of held item introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It is the Mega Stone that allows Camerupt to Mega Evolve into Mega Camerupt.

Effect

In battle

If held by a Camerupt, the Cameruptite allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Camerupt if its Trainer has a Key Stone. A Trainer can only Mega Evolve one Pokémon per battle (or only have one Mega-Evolved Pokémon at any given moment^ZA).

As a Mega Stone, it is unaffected by item-negating effects (such as Embargo and Klutz). Item-manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give or remove a Cameruptite from Camerupt.

Outside of battle

If held by a Camerupt, the Cameruptite allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Camerupt when it performs a Spectacular Talent during a Pokémon Contest Spectacular if its Trainer has a Key Stone. Camerupt will remain a Mega Camerupt until the Talent Round ends.

Any Pokémon holding a Cameruptite in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire cannot be traded to Pokémon X and Y.

Pokémon Shuffle

In Pokémon Shuffle, the Cameruptite allows the player to Mega Evolve Camerupt.

The player can obtain the Cameruptite by completing the competitive stage available in Week 15 of the event rotation.

The Cameruptite was also available as a prize during the Mega Camerupt competitive stage during the game's live service period:

November 22 to 29, 2016 (3DS and Mobile)
October 10 to 17, 2017 (3DS and Mobile)

The Cameruptite enables the following Mega Evolution:
