The Banettite (Japanese: ジュペッタナイト Juppetanite) is a type of held item introduced in Generation VI. It is the Mega Stone that allows Banette to Mega Evolve into Mega Banette.

Effect

In battle

If held by a Banette, the Banettite allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Banette if its Trainer has a Key Stone. A Trainer can only Mega Evolve one Pokémon per battle (or only have one Mega-Evolved Pokémon at any given moment^ZA).

As a Mega Stone, it is unaffected by item-negating effects (such as Embargo and Klutz). Item-manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give or remove a Banettite from Banette.

Outside of battle

If held by a Banette, the Banettite allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Banette when it performs a Spectacular Talent during a Pokémon Contest Spectacular if its Trainer has a Key Stone. Banette will remain a Mega Banette until the Talent Round ends.

In Pokémon Shuffle, the Banettite allows the player to Mega Evolve Banette.

The player can obtain the Banettite by completing the competitive stage available in Week 1 of the event rotation.

The Banettite was also available as a prize during the Mega Banette competitive stage during the game's live service period:
