Trivia
- Uxie is, as of Generation IV, one of the three lightest legendary Pokémon, tied with the other members of its trio. It is also, tied with the other members of its trio (and Rotom), the second lightest of all Pokémon, after Gastly and Haunter.
- Uxie is the mascot of Poképédia since it is the Pokémon of knowledge.
- Uxie is referred to as a male in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2.
Origin
Uxie is based after a pixie or a fairy and the color yellow. Uxie and the rest of the trio could possibly have originated from the Imperial Regalia of Japan, which are also called the Three Sacred Treasures. Uxie would be the Mirror of Wisdom.
Name origin
Uxie's name may be a combination of 行く先 yukusaki, future, 知識 chishiki, knowledge, and pixie. It could also come from you and pixe. Its French name, Crehelf, comes from création and elfe. Its German name, Selfe, comes from self and Elfe.
