Tackle (Japanese: たいあたり Body Blow) is a slightly inaccurate Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Tackle deals damage and has no secondary effect.

Trivia
- Tackle in the anime may not be counted as a move one has to learn, because a lot of Pokémon who aren't able to learn Tackle in the games use it in the anime (such as Pikachu in the Kanto series). Tackle, in the anime, may just be an extra command a trainer can give their Pokémon to give a bit more damage to the opponent.
