Whirlpool is a mostly accurate Water-type move introduced in Generation II that deals very little damage. It was the first HM move to lose its HM status, and was later followed by Flash and Dive.

Does damage, traps foe for 2-5 turns, damaging them slighty each turn.
Outside of battle
Clears whirlpools in the field.
