The Pokémon League
You have finally reached the Pokémon League, the pinnacle of your journey through Sinnoh. Inside the castle, you will face the Elite Four, followed by the Champion Cynthia. Each battle will test your team's strength and strategy. Ensure you have plenty of items to heal your Pokémon between each battle, as you cannot leave the building between encounters.
Rival Battle
As you try to enter the Elite Four, Barry storms in and challenges you in battle. He now possesses a fully evolved team of 6 Pokémon.
Elite Four Aaron
Aaron specializes in Bug-type Pokémon and is the first member of the Elite Four.
Use Fire-, Flying-, and Rock-type moves to counter his Bug-types. Drapion, his ace Pokémon, is resistant to many attacks; use Ground-type moves for super-effective damage. The Flame Orb on Heracross activates its Guts ability, making it dangerous. Use Special attacks or fast Flying-type moves.
Elite Four Bertha
Bertha specializes in Ground-type Pokémon and is the second member of the Elite Four.
Her team is bulky and hits hard with Ground-type moves. Use Water-, Grass-, and Ice-type moves to deal super-effective damage. Hippowdon, her ace Pokémon at level 59, is particularly dangerous with Sand Stream boosting Rock-type moves; use a Water-, Grass-, or Ice-type Pokémon to finish it quickly. Sudowoodo's Rock Head makes Double-Edge recoilless, so be cautious.
Elite Four Flint
Flint specializes in Fire-type Pokémon and is the third member of the Elite Four.
His team has mixed types beyond just Fire-types, making it more unpredictable. Use Water, Ground, and Rock-type moves against his Fire-types. Infernape, his ace at level 61, is very fast with Iron Fist boosting its punching moves. Use a Water, Ground, Flying, or Psychic-type move to counter it. Drifblim with Unburden can become very dangerous if its item is consumed; use a strong super effective moves to finish it quickly.
Elite Four Lucian
Lucian specializes in Psychic-type Pokémon and is the fourth member of the Elite Four.
His team relies on Psychic-type attacks, but also includes a Fighting-type and setup moves. Use Dark, Ghost, and Bug-type moves to counter his Psychic-types. Alakazam at level 60 is extremely fast and hits hard with Magic Guard; use a strong Dark-type move before it can attack. Bronzong's Trick Room can reverse Speed stats, bring a naturally fast Pokémon to handle this threat. Medicham with Pure Power should not be underestimated; use a Flying, Ghost, or Fairy-type move.
Champion Cynthia
After defeating the Elite Four, you will face Cynthia, the undefeated champion of Sinnoh.
Her team is exceptionally strong and diverse, featuring Pokémon of various types with no obvious weaknesses. Garchomp, her ace Pokémon at level 66, is incredibly powerful with high Attack and access to Swords Dance for setup. Use an Ice-type move or a fast Flying-type move to finish it quickly before it can set up. Milotic has Marvel Scale activated by its Flame Orb, making it extremely bulky; use a Grass- or Electric-type attack. Lucario is fast and hits hard with mixed attacking power, use a Ground- or Fire-type move. Spiritomb is ummine to Normal or Fighting moves; use Dark, Ghost, or Fairy-type coverage.
After defeating Cynthia, you will enter the Hall of Fame, completing the main story.
