Walkthrough:Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl/Part 21

This is the Bulbapedia walkthrough for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
These pages follow the remade Nintendo Switch iteration, not Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The guide for those games can be found here.

Galactic Warehouse

The Galactic Warehouse is a small storage facility on the northwestern side of Veilstone City, connected to Team Galactic HQ via an underground passage. Now that you have the Storage Key you can open the doors inside Pick up the Dusk Stone and take the stairs down tp access the underpass.

To the North the doors are locked and require the Galactic Key. Make your way instead to the East, defeating the grunts and take the stairs up to enter the HQ.

Go up the stairs to reach a room with a Galactic Grunt and two teleporters. Take the right one to reach TM49 (Scald), then take the teleporter back and take the left one. Take the next teleporter and go up the stairs.

In the next room take the teleporter, then the stairs down, and the other set of stairs down. You are now back in the warehouse underpass, behind the doors that were locked. Take 36|Sludge Bomb and the Galactic Key on the ground, then open the doors. You can now exit through the warehouse and enter the Galactic HQ through the Galactic Veilstone Building.

Team Galactic HQ

Team Galactic HQ is located in Veilstone City, disguised as the Galactic Veilstone Building. The headquarters spans multiple floors and requires both the Storage Key from the warehouse and the Galactic Key to fully explore.

Now that you have the Galactic Key, you can open the doors inside the building's main entrance and take the stairs up. In the next room, there are two teleporters to the East. The bottom one leads to Max Revive while the other one leads to a dead end. Take the third teleporter to the North to reach a room with beds you can use to heal your team.

Take the stairs up and continue West to reach three teleporters. The middle one leads to an Elixir and the left one allows you to continue. Take the stairs, open the doors and confront Cyrus.

After his defeat, Cyrus heads to Mount Coronet and give you the Master Ball. Follow him and take the teleporter. Continue East and then North to find a room with Commander Saturn and the three Lake guardians imprisoned in machines. Talk to Saturn to battle him.

After defeating Saturn, press the button to free the Lake guardians. Exit the headquarters by taking the green teleporter to the Southeast in the room where you battled Cyrus. Then head to Route 207 and enter Mount Coronet to continue your ascent toward Spear Pillar.

Mount Coronet

South

The southern entrance to Mount Coronet connects to Route 207 and Route 208 through a relatively straightforward cavern passage. You have traversed this area earlier in the game but we can now access the upper parts of Mount Coronet wiht Surf and Rock Climb.

Entering from Route 207, you can go South and use Surf to reach a Dawn Stone. Otherwise from the entrance, go North and use Surf. Take the Protein, use Rock Climb and take the stairs to the second floor.

Go north, and take the stairs to the platform to take the Max Potion. There is also an Ether hidden on the nearby rock to the West. Continue West then South to find an Escape Rope. Then take the stairs to the platform to the North. To the South there is an exit that allows you to reach a part of Route 208 containing an Iron. Otherwise continue North, then West, then take the stairs South. Continue South to find TM80 (Rock Slide), then North to find a Revive. From here go East across the bridge, take the stairs down and go North and West under the bridge to reach another area with stairs.

Take the stairs up, and then the stairs down to find a Max Revive. Then take the stairs up again and go North. You finally found Team Galactic. Defeat the two grunts and take the hidden Super Repel in the Northwest corner. Then go South to reach the mountainside.

Mountainside

After exiting the southern cavern, you encounter constant snowfall and harsh environmental conditions on the mountainside.

Go West then North through the tall grass to find a hidden Full Heal among the grass. Use Rock Climb two times to find a hidden Nugget on a rock. Go down one level and enter in the cave East. To the North there is a hidden Ultra Ball on a rock and West a hidden Tiny Mushroom under a breakable rock.

Go out and continue West then South. You can find a hidden Max Potion on the rock behind the breakable rock. Then go North and enter the cave.

Go North and use Rock Climb. There is a hidden Revive on one of the nearby rocks. Continue East and get the hidden Ether in the rock in the middle of the path. Then go South down the stairs, take the hidden Escape Rope on the rock and go out to the East.

Back outside, go North to find a Rare Candy hidden on the rock in the middle of the tall grass. Use Rock Climb to go down. The entrance here leads to a tunnel leading to the Northern part of Mount Coronet and 02|Dragon Claw.

However, the exit to the Northern part is currently blocked until you are done at Spear Pillar. You can explore the area for items and battle the Galactic Grunts, or you can come back when you are done so you can get 02|Dragon Claw. Note that if you decide to explore this part later, the Team Galactic Grunts will be gone.

To continue, Rock Climb to the West outside.

Go down the stairs to the West to reach a rock with a hidden Tiny Mushroom. Take the two sets of stairs to the Northwest and continue East from there to find a hidden Big Mushroom on the rock at the end of the path. Then backtrack West and enter the cave to continue your ascent.

Upper

Back inside, take the hidden Tiny Mushroom on one of the middle rock, then go up the stairs.

In this room there is a hidden Max Potion on the rock behind the first Galactic Grunt and a Stardust on the rock to the South. Take the stairs to the Southwest, and then the stairs North in the next room to reach the Spear Pillar.

Spear Pillar

Spear Pillar stands at the peak of Mount Coronet, accessible only after ascending the mountain's upper sections. Fight the two Galactic Grunts near the entrance, then continue to fight both Commander Mars and Commander Jupiter in a Multi Battle alongside Barry.

Once both of them defeated, Barry will heal your team. Then face Cyrus who has a team significantly more powerful than before, with levels ranging from 45-48. His Honchkrow and Crobat are fast and hit hard; use Electric- or Rock-type moves. Gyarados is vulnerable to Electric-type moves. Weavile at level 48 is his ace Pokémon and deals high physical damage; use a fast Fire-, Fighting-, or Fairy-type move to defeat it.

After defeating Cyrus, approach the region's legendary Pokémon to battle it. If you defeat or fail to catch the legendary Pokémon, it will respawn in the same location after you enter the Hall of Fame. If you want to catch the legendary now, be sure to bring Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, or Dusk Balls.

Dialga (Brilliant Diamond)

Dialga is a Steel/Dragon-type legendary Pokémon at level 47. Its Pressure ability drains PP each turn, so bring plenty of revives and healing items. Use Ground or Fighting-type moves for super-effective damage.

The Adamant Orb is available north of Dialga's location and boosts Dialga's Attack and Special Attack when held.

Palkia (Shining Pearl)

Palkia is a Water/Dragon-type legendary Pokémon at level 47. Like Dialga, its Pressure ability drains PP each turn. Use Dragon or Fairy-type moves for super-effective damage.

The Lustrous Orb is available north of Palkia's location and boosts Palkia's Special Attack and Special Defense when held.
