Solo event

Solo events (Japanese: ソロバトルイベント Solo Battle Event) are a type of limited-time event in Pokémon Masters EX. As the name suggests, these events feature only single-player battles. They can focus on a specific type or region, or particular sync pairs or theme skills. Unlike story events, solo events place more emphasis on the battles than the story, with most solo events containing only one or two story areas. In almost all solo events, players earn event vouchers by completing single-player battles, which can be used to exchange for items in the shop. In addition, most solo events have a story area that can only be unlocked by obtaining a certain number of event vouchers.

The event Flying Types Incoming! did not feature an exchange shop, with the only rewards available being completion and battle rewards. Fashion Week! also did not feature an exchange shop, with the rewards coming from event missions that were added daily.

Flying Types Incoming!

This event ran from April 14 to 28, 2020. Players must obtain permits by battling in "Flying Types Incoming" battles, and then can use 100 permits to battle against the "Flying Type Masters". The event had three different levels of difficulty. The Flying Types Incoming battles could be battled twice per day.

Morty's Secret Ghost Training

This event ran from July 15 to 28, 2020. The "Morty Spotlight Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Morty and Drifblim during the duration of the event.

Battles rewarded players with Event Voucher B, which could be redeemed in the Shop.

This event featured the Full-Force Battle, where players were challenged to defeat a large group of opponents. Similar to the Legendary Arena, players could use multiple teams with a limited number of sync pairs, with the opponents' health carrying over between rounds and with previously used pairs unable to be used again until the challenge is reset. Medals could be earned by completing specific missions.

This event reran from May 23 to June 6, 2022. The "Triple Feature Spotlight Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Morty and Drifblim, Allister and Gengar, and Fantina and Mismagius during the duration of the event. Battles rewarded players with Event Voucher D, which could be redeemed in the Shop.

Battles rewarded players with Event Voucher E, which could be redeemed in the Shop. Additionally, Daily Super Tough Battle! could only be challenged once per day. Players could include sync pairs from Galar in their party to obtain bonus vouchers.
