Kris's Worries (Japanese: クリスの困りごと Crys's Worries) was a solo event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh and Sygna Suit Kris & Suicune.

The "Sygna Suit Morty Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh from June 8 to July 2, 2023.

During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers S from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.

The player could battle using Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh or Sygna Suit Kris & Suicune to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted Johto sync pairs to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.

This event served as a prelude to the story event Chase the Northern Wind.

Plot

The player and Morty run into Kris, who is looking for her Suicune. It disappeared on her suddenly, and she does not know where it went. Morty and the player volunteer to help her look, and he suggests that they look for it around places with water. First, they check the fountain in town, but Whitney and Jasmine have not seen it there. Next, they check the beach, but Clair and Pryce have been training there for a while and have not seen it, either. Then, they check the waterfall in the mountains, but Falkner and Bugsy have not seen it either. They offer to have their Pokémon help search for it. Falkner admits that he is jealous of Morty, since he was able to partner with such a beautiful bird Pokémon as Ho-Oh, and Morty is optimistic that Falkner will have a legendary encounter of his own someday.

Finally, Morty, Kris, and the player find Suicune in the village with Evelyn and Nita. Evelyn explains that it suddenly approached her and Entei, and Morty hypothesizes that it was interested in her because she owns Entei, Raikou, and a Suicune of her own. Kris apologizes for the trouble, but Evelyn and Nita assure her that it was well-behaved and fun to be around. Kris asks Suicune to not keep leaving her behind, but Suicune wanders off, ignoring her completely.

My Suicune disappeared on me.
Morty Oh, did it get lost? That's not good...
Since Suicune likes places with water, we might find it if we look near one.
Let's team up and look for Suicune too, <player>.
(The player nods)
Kris Thank you, <player> and Morty!
Morty Now then. On Pasio, we can find water at places like...

Whitney Suicune? No, I haven't seen it.

  • This event marks Nita's first appearance in a story area outside of her sync pair story since her addition to the game.
  • In Chase the Northern Wind, it was implied that the reason Kris's Suicune was wandering off so much during this event was because it was curious about the Shiny Suicune that had arrived on Pasio.
