Brave Heroes of the Sea (Japanese: 海の勇者になろう！) was a solo event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pair Akari (Summer 2026) & Manaphy.

The "Akari Seasonal Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Akari (Summer 2026) & Manaphy from June 30, 2026 to the end of the event.

During this event, players could take on three special battles to earn Gems. Completing each battle also completed an event mission that awarded more Gems and 5★ Sinnoh Scout Tickets. Completing all three battles unlocked the story area On the Beach at Dusk, completion of which awarded the player with a special event title.

• This event is a reference to The Sea's Legend, which is written in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and is a request that can be completed in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
• The final story area in this event shares its English name with a song from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky (Song 4 in the Sky Jukebox). This song plays on the beach where the player says farewell to Manaphy in those games.
