Historical origin
Kotarō is based on the real-life Fūma Kotarō of Japanese history. Isuke (Ninokuruwa Isuke) was of the Fūma clan as well. Kotarō served both Ujimasa (Hōjō Ujimasa) and Ujinao (Hōjō Ujinao).
