Tracey Sketchit (Japanese: ケンジ Kenji) is a Pokémon watcher from the Orange Islands saga of the anime who likes to sketch everything he sees. He meets Ash and Misty and decides to travel with them when he finds out that they're friends with Professor Oak, his idol. His Japanese seiyuu is 関智一 Tomokazu Seki, Ted Lewis (4Kids dub) in English and Vagner Fagundes (Pokémon Chronicles voice) in Brazilian.
As a Pokémon watcher, he knows quite a lot about most species of Pokémon, and this helps the three of them in their journey many times along the way. Like Brock, he seems to have a soft spot for the many Nurse Joys, as he is seen sketching them several times. However, Tracey is a bit more self-conscious and doesn't seem to go as overboard about them (or other girls) as Brock does.
He currently lives in Pallet Town, where he serves as assistant to Prof. Oak. He occasionally visits the Cerulean City Gym, either to run an errand for Professor Oak or invited by Misty's older sister, Daisy.
