(Japanese: 四天王タッグバトル Big Four Tag Battle) is an anime-exclusive event that takes place at Naranja Academy. The event was featured in HZ055. It is a friendly competition created by Clavell and arranged by Geeta to determine the skills of Trainers.

Competition

After completing their basics tests, students are paired with the Gym Leader that they were assigned with and battle against one of the Elite Four members. If a student's Pokémon is defeated, the battle is considered a loss in the Elite Four member's favor, but if the Elite Four member loses even a single Pokémon, the student wins. Gym Leaders are not allowed to Terastallize during this battle.
