(Japanese: 四天王タッグバトル) is an anime-exclusive event that takes place at the Naranja Academy. The event was featured in HZ055. It is a friendly competition created by Clavell and arranged by Geeta to determine the skills of Trainers.
Competition
After students complete their basic test, students are pair with the Gym Leader that they were assigned with and battle against one of the Elite Four members. If the Trainer or Gym Leader's Pokémon is defeated, the battle ends but if the Trainer or Gym Leader defeated one of the Elite Four member's Pokémon, the Trainer wins. Gym Leaders are not allowed to Terastalize during this battle.
