Effect
Psywave causes a random amount of damage. The minimum damage it can do is 1, and the maximum damage it can do is less than 1.5 times the user's level. The game will freeze if a level 1 Pokémon uses the attack in Generation I, though this error was fixed in later generations.
In the anime
Alex Davis's Alakazam using Psywave in Power Play. |
Alakazam's Psywave, charging against Gary's Umbreon. |
Exeggutor using Psywave against Ash's Krabby. |
