Drayton's Elite Trial forces the player to battle three League Club members using only Pokémon that were caught in the Terarium, which excludes any Pokémon caught in Tera Raid Battles. After the trial has been cleared, Drayton can be battled. The player does not need to use these Terarium Pokémon during their battle with Drayton.
In Don't Give Up, Crocalor!, Roy and Drayton had their rematch at the Polar Plaza, this time observed by Liko, Dot, Ult, and the rest of the BB League Elite Four. Thanks to Drayton's advice and some improved strategizing on his part, Roy fared much better this time around, to the point that Drayton saw fit to resort to Terastallizing Archaludon. Although Kilowattrel was defeated, Roy still managed to pull off a win after his Crocalor evolved into Skeledirge.
