The Polar Biome (Japanese: ポーラエリア Polar Area) is a large biome within the Terarium, located in the Unova region's Blueberry Academy.

Geography

The polar biome has vast icy tundras and ice caps, with cold seas and large snowy mountains. Many ice-type Pokemon can be found roaming the land or swimming in the sea.

Main article: Chargestone Cavern

An entrance to Chargestone Cavern can be found in the center of the biome, at ground level.

Polar Plaza

Main article: Polar Plaza

The Polar Plaza is located in the northwestern portion of the biome. The player can challenge Drayton of the BB League here.

Polar Outdoor Classrooms

Two outdoor classrooms can be found in the Polar Biome. One is located at ground level in the center of the biome near the entrance to Chargestone Cavern; the other is located south on the mountain near the border to the Canyon Biome. The outdoor classrooms becomes a stop for Flying Taxis once visited.
