The Savanna Biome (Japanese: サバンナエリアSavanna Area) is a large biome within the Terarium, located in the Unova region's Blueberry Academy.
Geography
The Savanna Biome is large with vast desert plains, dry grasslands, large rock formations and mud wallows, many Pokemon will fly or dash across the savanna or rest on the rocks, sometimes taking a dip in the watering holes and mud wallows.
Located at the center of the biome, the outdoor classroom becomes a stop for Flying Taxis once visited.
Savanna Rest Areas
Two rest areas can be found in the Savanna Biome. Savanna Rest Area 1 is located in the southeastern portion of the biome, by the Blueberry Academy entrance. Savanna Rest Area 2 is located in the northwestern portion of the biome, near the border to the Coastal Biome; a guidance counselor is found here, who will reward the player for defeating Trainers in the Savanna Biome. The player can heal their Pokémon here and purchase items from vending machines.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here. Probability weight indicates the likelihood that a Pokémon will spawn at a certain point in this location relative to others that can spawn there. A higher probability weight generally indicates that a Pokémon is more likely to spawn. Pokémon with the highest or lowest level requirements may not spawn in every possible location within this area. A bolded level range replaces the Pokémon's non-bolded level range after the player has completed The Way Home.

Trivia
There is a large rock formation in the Savanna Biome that always spawns a male Pyroar sitting on it. This is a reference to the 1994 film, The Lion King.
