Lucius's Kleavor (Japanese: ルシアスのバサギリLucius's Basagiri) is a Pokémon that Luciuscaught on his journey to Laqua. It is a giant Pokémon. It is the fifth of the Six Heroes that the Rising Volt Tacklers have encountered on their journey, and the fourth one to join them, being placed under Liko's care. Currently, it is being contained in a restraining barrier by the Explorers.
100 years prior to the events of the series, Lucius met and battled Kleavor at an unknown Hisuian forest. It got tied up and taken in front of a mob of angry and scared villagers, who seemed ready to hurt it further if Lucius had not defended its actions. However, as it was freed, it swung its axes to hit Lucius, but ended up striking his Lapras on the neck instead. Despite the attempted attack, Lucius explained to Kleavor about his journey to Laqua and invited it to join them, which it accepted before being caught in an Ancient Poké Ball. As one of Lucius's Pokémon, it became one of the Six Heroes, being known to "break down walls".
Finally having reached Laqua, the Explorers found themselves in trouble after Gibeon meddled with the Laquium crystals found in the paradise. The Six Heroes released themselves from their Ancient Poké Balls and tried to contain the crystals, but to no avail. Afterwards, Rystal's Terapagos, Pagogo, transformed into its Stellar Form and gave some of its energy to the Six Heroes, allowing them to seal the Laquium away. As a result of this, Lucius was trapped in Laqua, Pagogo reverted into a dormant state, and the Six Heroes got scattered around the world, with Kleavor and its Ancient Poké Ball ending up in a mountain in the land of Kitakami.
At some point after the Black Rayquaza was released from its Ancient Poké Ball in The Ancient Poké Ball, it went after Kleavor and passed on the White Zygarde's message to it, asking it to find a worthy Trainer.
Kleavor debuted at the very end of Into a New Sky! The Brave Olivine!, albeit heavily shadowed, where it was briefly spotted by Perrin in the land of Kitakami. She managed to snap a picture of it, which she showed to Dot as the prize for having defeated her in Encounters at the Crystal Pool. In the same episode, Kleavor briefly appeared in the shadows once again, observing Oni Mountain from a distance.
In The Search for Kleavor!, with Perrin's help, Liko, Roy, Dot, and Friede started searching for Kleavor on Tengu Mountain. Using the clues provided by Perrin's photo, the Rising Volt Tacklers were able to narrow down where Kleavor currently resided to a Dugtrio-shaped rock near the wetlands. Kleavor briefly appeared atop the landmark, but quickly vanished before being found.
Only in Kleavor the Solitary Warrior that it was clearly seen, as Kleavor appeared before the group. Immediately, Lapras came out of her Poké Ball and engaged in a brief battle against Kleavor, which was actually the way the two greeted each other. As Liko and Lapras tried to convince it to join them, Kleavor simply fled, intent on testing their strength first. It led them through a limestone cave behind a waterfall, where the group got separated: while Friede and Perrin were still inside, the young Rising Volt Tacklers happened upon a bamboo forest, where Kleavor challenged them. Kleavor held the advantage for most of the battle, being capable of taking Floragato, Crocalor, and Quaxwell on at the same time by relying on more than one sense. Even after throwing off its focus and Terastallizing, the three of them were not able to finish off Kleavor. Despite this, it still recognized Liko's strength, chose to be taken under her care, and returned to its Ancient Poké Ball.
Lucius and the Six Heroes' last moment together
In The Three Explorers and The Wonders of the World!, all of the heroes gathered at that point came out of their Poké Balls and reunited with their long deceased friend, Rystal, who was summoned at the Crystal Pool by the Rising Volt Tacklers and Terapagos.
In The Pillar of Fire, Kleavor and the other heroes came out of their Poké Balls to reunite with Gouging Fire. After it chose to join them, the five, alongside Pagogo, summoned the remaining hero: the Black Rayquaza.
As the Rising Volt Tacklers traveled up Mount Pericarp in Where the Land Meets the Sky, Kleavor was summoned from its Poké Ball by Pagogo to help the Rising Volt Tacklers by breaking some boulders and clearing the river for Lapras to navigate. After returning to Laqua in Guided by the Black Rayquaza!, the Six Heroes reunited with Lucius once he was freed from the Laquium cluster by the White Zygarde. Later, Kleavor and the other heroes lent Pagogo their strength, allowing it to transform into its Stellar Form and purify Laqua from the Laquium in Where the Adventure Leads. While most of the Laquium was gone, resulting in Lucius and Gibeon fading away, Spinel had managed to store enough of it to use on the Six Heroes, resulting in them all going berserk, except for Rayquaza. In the aftermath of these events, the Six Heroes, minus Rayquaza, were captured by the Explorers.
In HZ110, Kleavor and the other captive heroes were forced to battle Liko, Roy, and Ult by the Explorers, who used the opportunity to gather data on their new Super Strong Spheres. With Laquium boosting their power and ferocity, they easily overwhelmed the Rising Volt Tacklers at first, but Pagogo was eventually able to purify the substance from their bodies. Their victory was short-lived, however, as the Explorers used the Super Strong Spheres once more on them. This time, Kleavor aimed directly at Pagogo, knocking out both it and Hattrem, who had jumped in to try and defend it. The battle continued in the following episode and, despite Amethio and the White Zygarde joining in to aid the Rising Volt Tacklers, only ended when the effects of the Super Strong Spheres wore off, after every single Pokémon opposing the heroes had been defeated.
Kleavor initially distrusted humans due to being persecuted in the past, but after meeting and befriending Lucius it had a change of heart. It is a stubborn and aggressive Pokémon who normally chases out intruders in its territory which it marks by slicing up trees and rocks as a warning, deep down it still misses its Trainer and longs to see its companions again. Kleavor and Lapras appear to have somewhat of a deeper connection within the Six Heroes, as Lapras was the only one to react after Kleavor was found.
Kleavor is a skilled warrior and has been through many battles in its life as seen from its chipped armor, scars and hole in its right axe. It constantly trains itself in the wilderness to hone its fighting skills. Kleavor is an honorable Pokémon who respects those who put up a good fight and can empathize with people who are kind to Pokémon, as seen with Liko.
