The Abundant Shrine (Japanese: ほうじょうの社 Fertility Shrine) is a location within the eastern half of the Unova region. It is connected to Route 14 at its southern exit and can only be accessed via Surf and Waterfall. The land surrounding the actual shrine is a field of mounds of soil and a few bodies of water.
Upon entering the area and seeing the shrine for the first time, some kids will be arguing over the Forces of Nature, and will tell the player the story of Landorus, the embodiment of fertility.
In Black 2 and White 2, if Landorus is brought in its Therian Forme to the shrine, an old man will give a brief history lesson on the three Pokémon and give the player a Reveal Glass which is used to switch the Forces of Nature between their Therian and Incarnate Formes.

The Abundant Shrine in the
anime
Though not referred to by name, Landorus's shrine appears in the anime in Stopping the Rage of Legends! Part 1 and Part 2. Instead of being on Route 14, it is located on Milos Island, which is near Driftveil City.
Trivia
- The presence of Vulpix and Ninetales at the Abundant Shrine may reference the white fox spirits that serve as Inari Ōkami's messengers, and that Landorus may be based on Inari Ōkami.
